Well, I forgot all about this blog about my review of Simple Sites, Big Profits, by Marcus Campbell. I did run through his entire program, and it really is a benificial program. It teaches you the basics of how to find a niche market where the keywords are still cheap. While this is straight forward, it is not that easy to find cheap keywords any more. This is especially true of Google Adwords. There are still some cheaper Yahoo keywords, but it's tougher to find them as they don't have very good keyword discovery tools. One thing I will be doing this week is buying a keyword tool. It's called Micro Niche Finder. I checked out the site and it I've seen others use it, and it looks like it will cut down the time required to find a new niche, and help find some of the more obscure ones. I will write a review of Micro Niche Finder once I've had time to play with it a bit.
I think Micro Niche Finder will also help find high priced adsense keywords which will come in handy for making niche adsense blogs. I'll be writing about this idea later as well.
I digress, as usual.
I did manage to find a niche and make a simple site, around the World of Warcraft Guides. At the time (mid January 2009) I found that I could get some useful keywords in the 15 cent range. So I joined Clickbank and have been selling one of the guides on a fairly regular basis. I'll do another post very soon giving the full financial details. But the summary point is, I have made money (maybe $120 after PPC advertising costs). Not a lot over the course of 5 or 6 weeks! But the main take away is that it is possible to make money using the Simple Sites, Big Profits methods.
The biggest problem is that I get sidetracked on other ideas and on offline business ideas, which have taken away from my focus on this project. It is time to get back at it! And I think Micro Niche Finder will help me get there faster!
More later, and good luck to you all in your endeavours.
